Functie
/ Position
As a Project Manager you are involved in managing and executing projects. Some examples are: supporting an operational site in activating new customers, carrying out an improvement project in quality or productivity, rolling out a new software package. You are in close contact with Operations. The location is flexible between remote and the locations in the South of the Netherlands and occasionally Belgium or the UK.
As a project manager you are responsible for:
- Starting up the project: what are the objectives, who are the customers, who are the parties involved
- Developing and following up on a project schedule
- Drawing up a business case, determining and monitoring the costs incurred
- Putting together a project team and ensuring that all tasks are carried out on time and with the right quality
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress of the project based on a number of KPIs
- Managing relationships with the project sponsor and steering committee members
- Delivering the desired project deliverables
- You make a proactive contribution to our Continuous Improvement working method.
Functie-eisen
/ job requirements:
As a project manager, we are mainly looking for employees who are very excited to start up project with different teams. You get a lot of confidence to shape your tasks independently and turn it into a success story. In this position you are part of a central team of project managers with whom you meet at regular intervals to share best practices.
Besides you have the following education/skills/ knowledge:
- Master or Bachelor degree (Commercial Sciences, IT, Logistics Management, …).
- Work experience of at least 5 years, of which 2 years within Project Management
- A strong interest in logistics.
- You are flexible and are willing to travel between the different sites.
- Good knowledge of Dutch & English, both spoken and written.
As a person you are ambitious, analytical, a go-getter and a team player who can also work independently. Furthermore you have an urge to learn new things
