Business Analyst – Eindhoven


Looking for a Business Analyst with experience in the European international parcel/ Integrator sector!

The Business Analyst works with a range of data sourced from internal and external data for example; existing service contracts, new business opportunities, rate increases, business acquired and lost, internal process models and relevant external input. The Business Analyst is able to develop/engineer and to validate essential information on internal business processes. By analyzing the data the Business Analyst contributes to developing a business approach which when successfully implemented optimises our client competitive advantage delivering sustainable revenue and profit growth. This new positon is stationed in the new head office in Eindhoven.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Working with spreadsheets, building presentations, running and participating in (project) meetings.
  • Assisting in the development of strategic plans and participating in service contract negotiations.
  • Supporting analysis and subsequent negotiation of 3rd party supplier service contracts, terms and conditions etc..
  • Supporting requests for information in respect of short, medium and long service agreements.
  • Developing in-depth market knowledge of competitors omni-channel business /process strategies and tactical execution to report on changes in the market
  • Monitoring existing processes and recommending timely changes so the strategy remains effective.

Functie eisen

For this positions we require a Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent in logistics, transport or supply chain management and with a minimum of 5 years experience in these fields.

further requirements are

  • A working knowledge and previous experience in the European / International Parcel / Integrator sector including an understanding of the terminology and concepts used.
  • Commercial awareness, including an awareness of global economic factors that can influence the Logistics industry.
  • Excellent reporting and analytical skills, including timely provision of weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Able to critically analyze and complete tender documents.
  • Manage under pressure to deliver quality outcomes on time within a busy, commercial environment.
  • Must be competent in software programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, etc..
  • Knowledge of distribution operating systems, international (road) transport, logistics, customs regulations and the import and export.
  • Strong customer focus and interpersonal and human relation skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Dutch.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks in stressful circumstances.

Last but not least: You have to be willing to travel to maintain open relationships with internal key stakeholders and customer and you are flexible and willing to work in flexible time frames and meet the expectations and demands of customers seasonal requirements.
